Long Overview
After a month spent among the ancient and technologically advanced Aelioxar, Theo Newton returns to Earth fundamentally changed. No longer just a world-record-holding athlete, he is now "The One"—a superhuman whose dormant alien DNA has been fully activated, granting him extraordinary abilities such as flight, invisibility, matter manipulation, and teleportation. While Theo hopes to return to a semblance of his old life in London and reunite with his father, Theodore, and his girlfriend, Mei Lin, he quickly discovers that the world has become a much more dangerous place in his absence.
