About the author
Mark P. Smith is the author of the Theo Newton Trilogy, with his debut novel, *Theo Newton Destiny*, released in July 2024.
The highly anticipated second book in the series, *Theo Newton Deception*, was released in May 2025.
The concluding book to the series *Theo Newton The Monad Theogony* was released in May 2026.
Mark has also released a childrens short novel, which big kids have also said they enjoyed, entitled 'Santa Claus and the mystery of the Aurora - The quest to restore Christmas magic', the hardback edition was released in December 2025 and the paperback released September 2026.
He is also working on several other exciting projects, including a thriller and a dystopian novel.
Mark studied Geography with Applied Environmental Science at York St. John in the mid 1990s.
He resides on the picturesque coast of North East England with his family and their beloved Labrador, Luna.
When he is not writing or updating the website, Mark enjoys running and has participated in numerous half and full marathons, including the prestigious London Marathon, as well as several ultra-marathons including the Ultra Trail Atlas Toubkal.
He has lots of interests which incude astronomy, all things science and of course watching science-fiction on TV and Film.
